Question barrel markings

hello to all,
im new to bullpups, and AUG/MSAR rifles. I plan to purchase a MSAR soon. Are there marking on the barrel that will confirm if its chrome-lined and twist rate? TIA

Aren't they all chrome lined? I bought an E4 20" barrel, and there is no 'C' in the part number on the box, but I thought they were all chrome lined.

all MSAR barrels are chrome lined 1/8 twist made by Green Mountain Rifleworks.

They don't have to be marked that they are chrome lined. Just look in the chamber. ...and yes, they are all chrome lined. Only very early bbls were 1:9. They are all 1:8 now.

No. The only MSAR bbl markings I've seen are 5.56NATO 1/9, 1/8, and 1/7 FN CHF. Colt started marking their bbls with the NATO CMP 1/7 stuff probably because the gov't contract called for it. MSAR isn't bound by anything like that, but all of their bbls are chrome lined.

The "C" in the item number of some rifles indicates that the rifle is built for ban states and will have a permanently attached compensator and come with 10rd mags.

The early rifles had a 1/9 twist. It is marked as pictured above over the chamber area of the barrel. There were barrels made by Mossberg and Green Mountain for quite some time. For the last year or so all the barrels have been made by Green Mountain.

There were ten 16", 1/7, cold hammer forged barrels made by FNH that were marked by FNH with 3 rings at the trunion end of the barrel. They are also marked FNH 1/7 at our factory with the laser. There are only a few in circulation.
