Default Centurion 5.56?

Anyone have any experience with this stuff? It looks good and is supposed to be domestically produced in tenn. by a DOD contractor. Thanks.

Default I've used Centurion .22LR

I know you specifically said .223, but I bought 5000 rounds of Centurion .22LR and went through 2K already with not a single FTF or FTE. That's the longest run I've ever had with any .22 ammo. I believe Centurion brand name just resells others ammo. I know the 22lr is produced by Aguila in Mexico.

I ran 250 rnds (bought from a buddy to try it) of the Centurion through my AXR. It was clean and pretty accurate, but seemed a little underpowered. Like almost .223 specs not 5.56. It caused short stroking on the first gas setting, but worked fine if I opened it up. My rifle only has about 500 rnds through it. May not be fully broken in, so you may have different results if yours is a little more loose, I don't know.
